There's a reason we're West Norfolk's favourite bed shop
For over 20 years, people from King's Lynn, Hunstanton, Downham Market, Swaffham, Dersingham and right across West Norfolk have walked through our doors at 119 Norfolk Street, King's Lynn, PE30 1AP - and walked out sleeping better.
We're not a big national chain. We're a family-run, independent bed and furniture specialist, and that's exactly why West Norfolk loves shopping with us. Here's why:
1. We're Actually Local - And We've Been Here For 20+ Years
We've seen generations of the same families come back to us. From your first flat in King's Lynn to a family home in Downham, a cottage in Hunstanton or a farmhouse near Swaffham - we know how Norfolk people live, and what they need from a good night's sleep. When you shop with us, you're supporting a King's Lynn business that supports West Norfolk right back.
2. Rated 4.9 Stars By Over 300 Of Your Neighbours
We have a 4.9★ rating from over 300 customers across King's Lynn, Downham Market, Hunstanton, Swaffham and beyond. Real people, real reviews. No fake reviews, no call centres - just honest feedback from people who bought their bed from us and loved the experience.
Don't take our word for it - pop into Google and search St James Bed Centre. You'll see why we're the most trusted bed shop in PE30.
3. Try Before You Buy On Norfolk Street
You can't test a mattress properly in a box on the internet. At our Norfolk Street showroom you can lie on it, feel it, compare pocket sprung vs memory foam vs orthopaedic, and get proper advice. Our team doesn't work on commission - we work on finding you the right bed for your back, your budget and your bedroom.
4. FREE Delivery Within 25 Miles - To Your Room Of Choice
We deliver for FREE across West Norfolk - King's Lynn, Hunstanton, Dersingham, Heacham, Snettisham, Swaffham, Downham Market, Watlington, Wisbech, Long Sutton, Fakenham and all the villages in between.
And we don't just dump it at the door. We deliver to your room of choice, unpack it, and take all the packaging away.
5. FREE Old Bed & Mattress Removal
This is the one our customers love the most. We take your old bed and mattress away FREE when we deliver your new one. No trip to the tip, no council collection fees, no hassle. We dispose of it eco-friendly too.
6. FREE Assembly - No Flat-Packs, No Stress
Buy any bed, bed frame or bedroom furniture and our own local delivery team will build it for you - for free. No confusing instructions, no missing screws, no arguments. We do it properly, so you don't have to.
7. Quality Beds Without The High Street Mark-Up
As an independent, we hand-pick every divan, ottoman storage bed, bunk bed, headboard and mattress we sell. Pocket sprung beds, king-size beds, ottoman packages from £599 - we offer great value, Klarna available, and we will never sell you something you don't need.
8. Aftercare From People You Can Actually Find
If you have a question next week, next month or next year, you know where we are. 119 Norfolk Street, Monday to Saturday, 9am - 5pm. 01553 775313. Come in and talk to a real person who remembers you.
